Makes me think of Truman, who I believe dropped to either 23 or 22 percent by the end of his presidency, but in later years was remembered as a great hero in the fight against communism

If he was a president that made U.S people rich and happy, or won the Korean war, every american should like him.

this is related to the topic, he left office with a low approval, and in later years he was considered one of the best presidents. Bush may have a low rate of approval now but it may improve in the years to come.
