Has anybody here read the book, "Parachute Infantry" by David Webster? He is one of the soldiers on Band of Brothers, and this book is his memoir. I have the Band of Brothers DVD series and the book, and I think they are great. I just wanted to know if anyone has read this book, "Parachute Infantry."

Not yet, but it's on my list of books to be read when I get the chance to do so.

I read it a year ago (so the memory's a bit dusty in my brain). It's a good book. The story of Pvt. Webster (notably his resistance at getting promoted all the time) is an insight into the mettle of the WWII era.
