BAGHDAD, Oct 27 (AFP) - An Iraqi was killed and eight others wounded early
Thursday by a suicide car bomb in central Iraq, security and hospital
sources said.

"A suicide car bomb exploded as a US patrol passed by in Karrada, killing a
civilian and wounding several others," an interior ministry source said.

The Ibn Nafiss hospital received eight wounded following the blast, a
medical source said.
