What old school games really rocked your socks?

One of the ones I loved was Final Fight. Hilarious and badass.

Haha, there was this really old arcade game called 1942 (I think) that was pretty sweet. I can't seem to find it on the Internet for a free download anymore though.

There we go! That was it. Yeah...fun game. Sorry about that. Got it mixed up. If you happen to find it for download somewhere (cause I didn't see any download link on that site you gave me), let me know. :P

Mmm was it called Sicily 1943 or just 1943? I'm not sure. Let's try this http://wargamer2.tripod.com/wargames/id4.html
You can download the whole game from there, othrwise I'll keep looking. Let me know.

There are several games with that name. One is 1943, then there is a Sicly 1943, and a Midway 1943 (there is also a Midway 1942), plus some more. Try focus your mind, and try remember the name. What was it about?

I also found a "Battlefield 1942" Demo http://www.fileplanet.com/111652/110...ltiplayer-Demo, and a full version availbale here http://www.eagames.com/official/batt...p?state=010010. I just don't know which one you really mean.

I am now pretty much 100% sure that it was "1943" because the screenshots that were on that site you gave me looked exactly like what I remembered. And I got Battlefield 1942 so I know for a fact that that one isn't it. As I said, I think it's 1943.
