Any know where I might be able to get my hand on some ww2 or earlier antique rifles or muskets??

Not being in the UK, I don't know much about your firearms outlets. In the US, black powder firearms aren't considered firearms and aren't controlled so you can order kits form online and finish them yourself. I buy Milsurp weapons in gun stores because they're usually cheaper than pawn shops and I don't trust some of the dealers at gun shows. All gunshops have a small area set aside for old military guns that aren't collector's items. They run from $80 to $130 for rifles.

Here are just a few places in my area. Click on Military Gun Supply, it has a good cross section of guns and ammo with prices. A lot are out of stock.

No, I was never interested in the older ones because of the price being so high. I would like to have a Sharps 1870 in 45/70 cal. but even the reproductions are too expensive. I would still like to be able to hit at 1000 yards at least once.

hmmm..say, do they ship overseas?
