Offering a mail based CPX for war gamers and tacticians info

I am preparing a mail based CPX (MBX) at another forum, Cold War environment and for training, just as we did 10-15 yrs ago.

Anybody interested is invited to try it out, maybe we can form an ongoing thingy, used to be much fun and source for many a lesson learned...

Not much needed: A comp and working email, roughly understanding (english) mil speak and knowing how to interpret an OPORD will do. Last, a compromise to devote 10 min time daily for about 6 weeks and a desire to act as coy commander on paper...

Details a (and revisions of past CPX/MBXes): http://www.warandtactics.com/smf/gam...g9387/#msg9387

15M(ay): Noooobody! ...expects the Spanish Revolution!:
Update SEP 2011: Now reached US, called "Occupy Wall Street" and they claim they invented it. Thanks for learning from Spain!

Should answer all your doubts and questions.

Let me take a look... the problem with these commitments is that there will be days when I will be away from a computer. Not right now but it's going to happen in about a week or so.

Donīt worry, this is a training MBX, *all* participants are newbies to this (even me as umpire, though I run a long hisotry of CPX design and MBX participation).

It is about learning, not about doing everything right... (though the latter should not be impossible )

An overview here, recruiting is open til Saturday (want to organize teams on Sunday):

As I am running the teams on mailing lists via WaT and will display the two teams materials there also (seperate storage rooms, of cause), I would suggest you register and sign up to the MBX over there, easiest for all to have it all together: http://www.warandtactics.com/smf/gam...g-mbx/msg9475/
