Post; Off to JRTC

Early morning on the 30th, my Brigade is off to JRTC (Joint Readiness Training Center) at wonderful Ft. Polk, LA. My future is filled with Arab speaking Americans, simulated Iraq situations...and fields a pon fields of poison ivy. When I return I will give you all a detailed account of how JRTC has changed. This will be my forth rotation down there.

Hey Redleg, it seems the Forward Observer has a new roll in Iraq. Now an FO has to report on negative media coverage, report on government projects, report any intel to higher as well as call for fire (which will take an act of "God" to get). Can you tell I am going to have fun!!!!!

we are going to be in the box on 5 FEB for 7 days. I have heard conflicting dates as to redeployment so I cannot say exactly when. 17 Feb give or take is my best guess.
