Here it is...

Midway through his speech on urban and metropolitan policy in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building this afternoon, one of his two small glass prompters came crashing down, hitting the wood floor and crashing in many pieces. It made quite a ruckus.

"Oh, goodness," a startled President Obama said. "Sorry about that, guys."

He dident look very starteled to me. I know you hate him but he looks very calm and collected. Loosing the teleprompter while adressing a room can probably get most people very very uptight.

Sooo... What political bearing does this have? Any at all?

I think the President took it well and recovered even better.
He had only one screen to work with but delivered the speech just fine and didn't even lose eye contact after resuming his speech.

Rumors are that this was the promper that caused him to lie during a speech about how he met his wife. Suicide was the only honorable way out!

Like him or not, give him a break. He's not done a bad job as President so far. Yeah the whole bailout thing could have been handled better but I think those are things that any government would have been tricked into. When it comes to money, these financial institutions can fool anyone.
My question is, when it is apparent that they fooled people or the government, why are they never reprimanded?

This why the right looks so ridiculous right now. They hate Obama but they have no idea as to why. A teleprompter breaks and they get all excited that this suppose to *prove* that Obama is somehow at fault.

Wasn't happy with the bailouts that Bush did, but Obama is making Bush look like a mizer. Obama in 4 years will have spent as much as been spent by everyone before, including Bush. If he gets all the spending he wants it'll double again in the 4 year peroid after that.
