It's a serious one.

In late May 2006, NRF-7 forces started deploying to Cape Verde in preparation for Exercise Steadfast Jaguar. This exercise is designed to test the NRF, combining multinational joint forces of land, maritime and air components, in the first major test for the force. Steadfast Jaguar 06 involves over seven thousand NATO soldiers, sailors and airmen.
