| Milforum's Postmaster | Post; Northrop To Lead Bid For Army PlaneBaltimore Sun January 10, 2008 Northrop Grumman Corp., the third- largest U.S. defense contractor, said yesterday that it would lead a team to compete for the Army's Aerial Common Sensor, a new surveillance aircraft. Partners include L-3 Communications Corp. and units of Textron Inc. and General Dynamics Corp. George Seffers, a Northrop spokesman, declined to provide details on the bid because the Army's formal request for proposals hasn't been issued yet.
