| Milites Gregarius | Post; Noob Landing hereHi I've been lurking a while and decided to join your merry band. A liitle information about me. I served as a Infantry officer from 1980-86 in the U.S. Army. My experience was with light and mechanized infantry units. The unit that I have fondest memories of was the 4/9th Infantry Bn at Fort Ord Ca. I try to keep current on changes in military technology and doctrine. Trust me, the military I served with in the early 80's was nothing like what is out there today. I hope I can offer some perspectives to people considering joining the muddy boot end of the military, from time to time.
