NIG....Hello guys n Girls info

Hi all,

My name is Phil or Scouse, I left the British Army in 2006 at the Rank of Sergeant, I originally Joined as a Cavalryman in the Premier Recce Regiment of the British Army 9th/12th Royal Lancers (POW's).

I transfered to the AGC, and proceeded to serve with many units ranging from Royal Signals to NATO Regional HQs'.

Looking forward to some of that International Banter i had the honour to share with NATO Staff for a period of 3 years, which I am glad to say was my second best period of service, right after my 6 years with the 9/12L.

Scouse

Once a Lancer always a Lancer, Ich Dien.

It must be accepted as a principle that the rifle, effective as it is, cannot replace the effect produced by the speed of the horse, the magnetism of the charge and the terror of cold steel. - British Cavalry Training Manual, 1907

Welcome.....

Looking forward to seeing what you have to say around here

The oath to serve my country as a soldier did not include a contract for the normal luxuries and comfort enjoyed within our society. On the contrary it implied hardship, loyalty and devotion to duty regardless of rank.
