anyone think the lock hurt hockey? what do you think about the Salary Cap. so far things have been interesting with players signing with new teams or being traded because of the salary cap.

Forseberg is gone.
Foote is gone.
Kariya is gone.
Sellane is on his way out.

As an avid hockey fan and supporter of the NHL. I am glad there is now a league cap. More teams now can compete on the same level with the money that they have. I think the most improved team this year is Pittsburg Penguins. The team that is almost the same would have to be the Ottawa Senators and are still under the Cap.

I'm glad hockey's back, especially with the lineup the Ducks have. It is definetly going to be an interesting season back.

So hockey is back woohoo yay cool and the Ducks should kick ass this year so close yet so far has been the norm for too long.
But what about British Ice Hockey still underfunded, still no help from governing bodies no British Ice Hockey team going to the Olympics again how crap is that
