Trialled them, everyone including me absolutely hated the things. To get out you have to go past the machine gun on either side while flipping up seats as they block your path. Completely unsuitable for Infantry and all our gear.

So it's a REMF designed helicopter for REMFS maybe.

Pretty much. It's a lot better just to take out the seats of the blackhawks and sit on the floor, you can fit about 15 blokes in there with packs. Makes debussing faster as well.

Agreed, Air mobile brigade assesed the aircraft the same way.
Looks like our SOF units are going to keep using Super Pumas and a few other older helos instead of this overpriced piece of REMF kit.
