Why am I left with the feeling that you went out and looked before posting though.

Once again I think you have failed to understand one small part of the New Zealand psyche, we don't fear our government because oddly enough they are not our enemy they are just bureaucrats we elect every few years and then get rid of once their comedic value has gone.

I don't fear my government.... A Government should fear it's people, not the other way around.

I think what you don't understand about the American psyche is that we are a nation of people that have overthrown or fled oppressive governments. We're used to keeping an eye on our government and preventing a despotic one from forming.

New Zealand never really fought for her independence like the United States of America did or like many other nations of who's people come and immigrate to the United States of America to live in.
