Post; New in Town

I served in HWB 1/11th ACR from 85-88 in Fulda, West Germany, and finished out active duty as Sgt. FO in Ft. Polk, LA. I served as a platoon sgt. and then Det. NCOIC in the Kansas National Guard for 6 more years while getting a teaching degree and my first couple of years teaching. I've been married for 15 years and have 2 wonderful children. I've always wondered what actual battle is like and how I'd respond. I also thank God frequently that I don't know the answer to those questions.

God bless our soldiers and veterans.
