Well I have to wait until the 6:00 news to get the full story, but apparently Bin Laden has made a video confessing responsibility for the 911 terrorist attacks. A lot of poeple are thinking that the timing of the video release is to have an influence on the up-coming election. Others say that it's just to let poeple know that he's still prominent.

"Security is an important foundation of human life and free people do not squander their security, contrary to Bush's claims that we hate freedom. Let him tell us why we did not attack Sweden for example.

"It never occurred to us that the commander in chief of the American forces (Bush) would leave 50,000 citizens in the two towers to face those horrors alone at a time when they most needed him because he thought listening to a child discussing her goat and its ramming was more important than the planes and their ramming of the skyscrapers. This had given us three times the time needed to carry out the operations, thanks be to God...

I believe he is making a political statement. Maybe he's trying to drum up support for his cause. I know for a fact that this statement is not the usual thing coming from Bin Ladin. If it was, aljazeera would have carried a complete translation of the speech.

Isn't embarassing that with such much power of G.Bush you still can not find where B.Laden is, and after so many years.

T'm almost embaressed to say that Bin Laden praised Sweden in his speech as a country that likes muslims or something like that. It do follows what I have said in some other posts before. That Sweden is getting some kind of safe heaven for the "bad guys"

Both Norway and Denmark take real stand in the war against terrorists and have sent tropps to Iraq and Afganistan. Sweden have done it in Afganistan but mainly civic troops.

Hope someone get him and finish him off fast. Hopefully they don't brag about it because then he is a martyr.

Here we don't have news report about any Norway or Denmark troops in Iraq. Now they have troops there then of course they will be targeted by B.Laden.

But in general those North European countries enjoy very good image in the world, including Canada.
