I have an U.S. Air Force patch in my collection that i don't know what is is. It is deffinitly a rank insignia and it has 3 stripes coming from the star and three under it.

Here's a site that shows all the enlisted ranks. If it's got rockers and chevrons then it's definately an enlisted rank. Hope this helps.

After some research, I believe what you have is a pre - 1991 U.S. Air Force Master Sergeant Rank Insignia.
