Post; Need help

I'm gonna try and make a scale model of a past war-time plane crash, but I need some help.

1. I need to figure out WHICH crash to model.
2. I need information on that crash, like pictures of the scene.
3. I need to know that type of plane it was, so i can buy a model of the exact plane.

If at all possible, I'd like it to be a WW2 crash, maybe a Japanese Zero shot down at Pearl Harbor, or a Luftwaffe in Germany or something of that sort.

I might actually be starting with a model of a landing a relative of mine pulled off: landing a C-130 on the streets of the capitol of Vietnam.

any suggestions would help a lot.

There was a helicopter squadron in Vietnam called Scarface. They had a rather infamous Cobra crash back in the day that they have a few photos of. You might check them out at www.scarface-usmc.org/hovercover.htm

...It's near the bottom of the page. You can also put in the rescue by the Kingbee pilots.
