I read a post on another message board that person said they heard at a dep meeting that the navy was changing the length of bootcamp to 6 weeks. Does anyone else know anything abou this?

The most logical thing is to ask your recruiter. I'm sure they would know. I'm in DEP for the Navy right now and I leave soon, and I haven't heard anything like that at all. I'll keep my ears open though, but I don't see why the Navy would shorten it's recruit training....

i have asked my recruiter and she said she hasnt heard anything but on the other message board there are more people who just came from bootcamp or who are doing their a school at great lakes who said it has been changed to six weeks not including P week
