My speakers arent working.....any idea whats wrong? Ive gotten them working before when they stop working but this time I cant. Ive already reinstalled the driver for them and i've looked on add new harwarwe nad it says they are working properly. Ideas? Help? advice?

Are they plugged into the right jacks? Ive found that sometimes Evan gets twisted kicks out of unplugging them and plugging them into the wrong slots...Check that.

Hmm...They may have shorted out...I know my computer didn't detect it when a wire shorted on my old speakers...Try another set and see if you can get those to work. It might not be the computers fault.

I experienced that all the time earlier, so I bought a new sound card and new speakers and solved the problem
