You know, I don't know if that movie will be an exception at all, but I've yet to see anyone get Hitler right in a movie. The focus is generally on him being completely evil, and he truly was when you get right down to it. Even so, he was also one of the most charismatic national leaders in the entire history of the world. If any of us had met him in person, I think he would have charmed the hell of of them. He exactly what to say and do to make it so.

So very true, but after watching that trailer... I seriously got chills-- but thats cause im a history buff :P. But you are right about many movies portraying him wrong, some say insane some say kind. He was such a different person in ways that we can not understand. If anyone is looking for a bizarre book try reading Mein Kampf. Its stunning how he basically "prophecizes" what he does later in his career as leader of Germany.

If you've ever met an incredibly charming sociopath, you probably have a good beginning at understanding the man. (Sociopaths are extremely charming and outgoing by their nature, but not very good people.)
