Yes Redneck, I understand that this is so, The US Air-force designed GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast Bomb, The Mother Of All Bombs. Weighs 21,000 lb, 18,700 is explosive filler. 1.35 times the power TNT. Any other candidates?? |

I think it's this Russian fuel-air bomb: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/europe/6990815.stm  As powerful as 44 tons of TNT, creates a blast radius of 300 meters and a much larger area is leveled due to immense pressure and the shock wave.
