MOS questions

Hi everyone, let me give you a bit of background on me before i ask some questions.

I AM a diver, i have been diving for over a year and I love it. PT and working out is a lifestyle for me, as well as being at the beach working out, or out in the desert shooting, I am an outdoors person.

I really would like to be an Army diver, but I also want to go SF or ranger at some point. The problem is Army Diver is not a combat MOS, so going from diver to ranger is going to be hard. If i make diver, when my contract runs out could i sign the 18xray and tryout for SF? Anyone have ideas?

12D is the Diver MOS.

It's within the Engineer branch.

Combat Diver is a totally different story. Getting that course is most probably going to depend on your MOS and/or assignment to a command that requires Divers. i.e. SF or Ranger Regiment or one of the other Tier assets.
