Hi all, I have three mos's that I will be talking to Recruiter about on the 2nd of
May. I have a interest in all of them,and was wondering about some input on
them.

They are 25M Multimedia Illustrator, 37F Physchological Operation Specialist,
and 92G Food Services.

My Packet is done,and I am approved for the Army. Through 2 waivers and
quite a long process.

We will be looking at these on his labtop then going to Des Moines Meps this week.

Any input will help!

Don't let them force you into an MOS if you don't want it 100%. They're going to push you towards cook because they always need cooks. You have to know how to play their game. If you're willing to be a cook and think you'll like that better than the other two MOSes, go ahead, but if not, just tell them "Okay then, I'll wait, let me know when the other MOSes I'm interested in open up." Sometimes, all of a sudden, those jobs that weren't open before? Suddenly become open.

I hear you PJ24 he is trying to get me to take a 25B which there are slots
open. 13 jobs came up 10 were high demand MOS ..no surprise there. The
other 3 were 45G Fire Control Repairer,74D Chemical Operations Spec.and the
25B,which is atleast in the 25's.

Recruiter called the ''Rock'' and 25M,and 37F were locked out for rest of year!

I know I get a E-3 enlistment on joining,a 6 grand bonus for 72 college credits
mostly related to the 25M field. and possible 3 grand for Airborne bonus.

Thats where I am and hes trying to get this done by tomorrow.

I am waiting on the person in charge of the 25 field to see what he says.

RECRUITER left our house at almost zero hundred hrs! Tried reserving 25Bjob
but he was trying to get the rock on 2 different cells for 52 minutes! The reason is the ship date is June 2 and tried to get that pushed back some. In
the meantime his labtop booted offline,then kept getting error message!

So we couldn't make reservation. Only 6 year enlistment open and no Airborne
bonus available even though it lists 25B on a website? Guess he has the right
answers though!

My advise is wait and do not go in until you can get what you want. The new year begins in October, though I doubt you'd have to wait that long. You can get the bonus you want, MOS you want and abn option (if available).

It is all in what you want to do. Don't feel like you have to settle on anything less than what you want. You may have to wait a bit, but waiting is better than getting an MOS you don't enjoy. It's a lot easier to wait now than it is to get a new MOS later down the road.
