Topic: Mortar round kills three in western Baghdad

BAGHDAD, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- A mortar round hit a primary school in western Baghdad on Thursday, killing three and wounding four others, a police source told Xinhua.
"The mortar round hit a school in Mansur district. A girl student and two guards were killed," the source said.
On Wednesday, two mortar rounds landed in Baghdad's heavily fortified Green Zone ahead of trial of former Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein, who pled not guilty on charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity.
