Post; More Helicopter Training Tips

IN HELICOPTER TRAINING at Fort Rucker, Ala., I heard a radio transmission between an instructor and his student pilot. They were practicing hovering, a tricky maneuver.

"See if you can keep your helicopter inside the concrete boundary," the instructor said. A few minutes later, he revised his request. "Hell, candidate," he shouted, "just keep it in Alabama!"
