Have you been harassed by your your chain of command like I have? Have you been cursed at? belittled? etc? This type of mental abuse should not be tolerated. Have you visited the IG, EO or legal and nothing has been done about your situation?

I would love to hear your story.

With enough issues I plan to submit a petition to the Department of the Army to request a policy against harassment. Please understand that I am not speaking of harassment in the sexual nature there is already a policy for that. I am speaking of constant harassment that no one cares to stand up for.

It's only been since the Political correctness crowd arrived that the word harassment has come into accepted usage. Hell,... we used to run bets on who could get the worst bollocking for the week, whoever won got the money.

Why should your trainers go easy on you? The guys shooting at you sure won't. Of course in Russia they take it overboard, some of the recruits get some serious wounds from their superiors.

hahahahahahahaha, yea go outside the chain aka "Equal Op Rep" and your setting yourself up for a headache you really dont want. The military has strict guidelines on the propper way of submitting things like this which can be devistating to a persons career when its not prooved.

1st part
Come on now, the military is sopposed to destroy you mentally, physically, and what ever other way they can so they can rebuild you the way they want you to be. Heck if everyone had they're, I think we'd be giving the Jihadists flowers and milk and cookies.
Get over it! It's the military! And if you didn't expect to be treated like ****, be given pretty bad food, be physically destoryed for the first little bit, and the rest that comes with the military WHAT THE HECK WERE YOU THINKING? Come on now you going to tell your drill instructer "I don't like your tone of voice."

2nd part (just came back from church, happy easter all
I'm not even in the Army yet and I'm getting yelled at myself at my cadets. When I didn't get the drill, and I got yelled at until I got it right. When they inspected my uniform and it woesn't perfect, I got yelled at until it was right. When I woesn't doing the PT right or I could do it better, I got yelled at. When I didn't call "GROUP!" when an Officer walked into the mess, I got yelled at. That's how I learned, that's how we all learned. Now, I have a great uniform (one of the best), great drill, good PT, and I follow every order perfectly.

People now a day are too weak, they think getting yelled in your ear and cursed at is harrasment. Jeez. I got I got belittled, and laughed at in ranks by my whole platoon and seniors and you know why? A senior cadet was trying to make us laugh in ranks (something obviously not tolerated), walking through us making funny faces, laughing in your face. I laughed and I got the name Giggles Migee and so what, I'm Cdt Giggles and you don't see me crying now do ya? The guy who gave me the name is a good friend of mine (he's the bagpiper and I'm junior bagpiper in training).
