Soldier's Angels. I "worked" for the VA in Dallas and then Bonham, TX in Volunteer Services. By far, Soldier's Angels was the most giving, active organization supporting our deployed troops from all branches. I will never forget my time there. I am going to match your $100 donation regardless of the chosen charity, as long as it isn't branch specific. Please PM me payment location and I'll send it to you today. Thank you for doing this. |

Both are good suggestions. There's also Patriot Paws, which provides comfort/assistance animals to veterans dealing with physical/emotional (PTSD) issues. Its a great organization!! http://www.patriotpaws.org/ Not liking me will always be your problem. Never mine. |

I just checked the old threads and I saw that both Soldier's Angels and Wounded Warrior Project have received donations from us in the past, but it is certainly allowed to suggest charities we have donated to before as well. ![]() My own suggestion is Save the Children http://www.savethechildren.org/site/...B/101__250.htm Or SOS Childrens Villages: http://www.sos-childrensvillages.org/pages/default.aspx |

My suggestion (which has been suggested & funded before): Doctors Without Borders.

Doctors Without Borders is certainly a worthy organization as well. ![]() www.doctorswithoutborders.org I'll let this thread run for a week or so, then I'll make a poll of the suggestions we've got. |
