Mil Surp warships info


Reflecting back on the Obsolete Aircraft Carrier Thread, what do you feel certain warships could do when withdrawn from their naval service? Convert to freighters? What purposes could they fill, and would it be economical? Would it be worth the effort?

Nope, only support vessels could have a commercial use. Tankers, landing craft, ect.

That would be a nice dream yaught lol! Playing golf and most of them ending up in the Mariana Tenches.

If I knew how to repair diesel engines, I'd find a way to buy myself a ship just for that- my own yacht!
