| Centurion | Post; Metal Plate in handi couple years ago i got into a fight and ended up breaking the fourth metacarpal in my hand. i had surgery on it and i now have a permanent metal plate in my hand. i have 100% range of motion back in it. is this going to give me problems with getting into the army? i would like to do infantry i think and i would like to know ahead of time what to expect. thanks, Matt |

| Immunes | I think you'll need a doctor's certificate certifying that your injury causes no issues - i.e. no pain, full range of movement, etc. If it's anything like the Aussie military they might send you to a specialist too for confirmation. |

| Immunes | No, you shouldn't be automatically ruled out because of your past injury. You'd only be automatically ruled out if you have a condition which cannot completely resolve after a year - i.e. chronic conditions.
