Not sure what this has to do with the topic, but no, it isn't a problem. They'll teach you how to shoot in BCT (well, sorta). It is helpful if you've had experience .. but not necessary.

LCDR you bastard, Im an ensign(gonna end up as LT) 2nd Battalion Commander, and drill team xo...My school doesnt have the rifle team things... . However i dont think they should trust NJ kids with guns anyway. Our JROTC medals arent nottin compared to the real service ppl. But all I have anyway is a bunch of Nationals medals: daytona beach and pensacola, I scored a couple of 10's on annual inspection so i got a few of those and thats about it. I wanna get in thread and talk to all the military headed jrotc kids
