Post; McCain plays the spoiler

Is McCain really up to the task in understanding the financial mess that the US finds itself in?

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/0..._n_129438.html

McCain is just playing a desperate game of political point scoring at this stage of the campaign. He can see that things are slipping away! Surely Sarah Palin would like to have some input!

What do our forum contributors think?

I was going to hold my nose and vote for McCain now or more to the point vote against Oboma, I am not voting I don't like Mr. Oboma, or Mr. McCain

Rewarding bad behavior is stupid and exactly what McCain wants to do, folks who bought homes they can not afford or "used their house as a bank" deserve to lose their assets because they were trying to make a quick buck and take advantage of the system.

About 4 years ago one of my wife's friends husbands had a "use your house for a Bank" business and wanted me to invest he made a good sales pitch I thought about and decied not to invest with his organization. Good thing I would be in real trouble now.

Those that did choose to invest made a mistake and that is just plain TOUGH. The governement should not buy bad dept or all dept will become bad!
