| Fridgeraider (Instructor) | It seems like the only way our guys can get medals is by dying.

they are getting much much more specific now on the citation requirements. Its almost insane in some cases now. Purple hearts and Combat Action Ribbons are really gettin nickel and dimed by the marines at the moment. Im glad the guy got his medal he deserved it... Seems kinda bad though to be a 3rd time combat vet and only be a e-4 they shoulda atleast gave him a combat meritorious promotion =/ Last edited by doc : February 15th, 2008 at 06:16.

It would be but over last summer/fall the marine times paper was showing the way they revamped the conditions for ribbon citation making it alittle harder to earn it because so many were being awarded now days. I think its already been put into Place but im not totally forsure. And yes your right lol its Marines ![]()
