Associated Press HOUSTON - Indianapolis quarterback Peyton Manning reached 4,000 yards passing for the seventh season on Sunday, an NFL record.
Manning came into Sunday's game against the Houston Texans needing 90 yards to break a tie with Dan Marino. He reached the mark on an 8-yard pass to Marvin Harrison in the second quarter. Four plays later, Manning threw a touchdown pass to Aaron Moorehead.
Manning went 21-of-27 for 205 yards and three touchdowns in the Colts' 27-24 loss to the Texans. Manning now has 4,115 yards passing this season.
