Well,... it feels good to know that the old "sniffometer" is still within calibration limits. It just all seemed too good to be true. The really sad thing being that it has reflected badly on an otherwise honourable member of the Services.

Oh I think when the AF put out the publicity shot some trigger puller at Bragg, Benning , HAAF or Lejune saw it and told his buddies. "Hey fellas. This is gonna be way too funny!" Made up the poster put it out on the net with some bogus intel and viola.

The ground element guys especially in billets that require alot of training like Sniper, tend to get down on the AF when they try to put on a "we know all about ground combat" persona. Just my opinion.

I don´t have the pleasure of knowing the gentleman in question (PJ24), but ofcourse this smells like a hoax.
No one, and I mean no one mans a sniper position with jewlery on.
I am also guessing that the US military issues some sort of skincream? Thus no need for lip gloss..
