Post; Latin American Protests

After seeing some of the pictures of the recent Latin American protests towards the President I see a few things.

First, their police are very violent and I am wondering if this sends a message that it is the Presidents or Americas fault...Just something to ponder....

Second, regardless of accounting gimmicks being used (the reference to 2000 when aid was cut nearly in half) the American Tax Payers give Latin and Central America 1.6 (soon 1.47) Billion USD a year.

So protest away but do not disrespect, I say we just cut all aide screw em...I mean why should we bother wasting our tax dollars if they are not appreciated...Then again the news could be blowing this out of proportion as always...Plus I'm thinking Chavez has a lot to do with it....

Any chance you could provide a link? I don't usually follow the news. This forum is about as close as I get to current events.
