Two Australian soldiers from Bravo Company, 2nd Battalion, the Royal Australian Regiment, move to the safety of an Australian Light Armoured Vehicle (ASLAV) and out of the Urban Operations Training Facility (UOTF). It is a new facility located at the Raspberry Creek Junction inside the Shoalwater Bay Training Area for Exercise Talisman Saber 07.


Joint Rapid Airfield Construction (JRAC) Taskforce Commander Lieutenant Colonel Stuart Yeaman says some goodbyes to JRAC Deputy Commander from the US Army Major Pat Stogner at the taskforce headquarters at Bradshaw Field Training Area in the Northern Territory.

Operating together, Australian and American forces have been perfecting techniques in warfighting through realtime scenarios during Exercise Talisman Saber 2007.

The soldiers jumped at dusk to seize a nearby airfield as a secure foothold for the arrival of 'follow-on' forces.
