A soccer match took place between Kuwait and Australia today 6th of September. The first half ended in a draw. Both the goals came in the second half od the match.

They never show soccer here. Just the world cup.

They don't even show it in Australia.... and we were in it.
World cup is the only thing worth watching.

Sometimes they show big Champions Leagues games (big English/Spanish teams.) I dont even know if MLS gets coverage. No chance for any football internationals, for sure.
Was really looking forward to catching some Euro '08 qualifiers, but too bad.

Soccer here is important, but to me, its not that important People are mostly fascinated with the European leagues, most notably the Spanish and English. Ofcourse the big touranments as well, such as the WC, Euro cups, etc etc, but nothing else is shown, like South or North American leagues.
And nobody expected the national team to win lol.

No the diving and complaining is the funniest bit. The slow-mo replays that show no contact being made.

And plenty of yelling at the big screen at the pub when that Italion Fabio whatsisname took a dive.

yeah, dont you just love the diving lol. Gave a bad reputation to a few teams.
