im not quite sure but to join our military you cannot have a duel citizenship you would have to give up your australian citizenship for a US one, thats if what i remember is correct.

You either have to have a US Citizenship or be a resident alien and meet certain requirements. Go here for more info. www.marines.com

We have no marines. Just our Army is considered good enough to equal the standard of marines. Well thats what i hear.

Australia and the US are very good allies though.... I find it strange that there cant be duel citizenships.

I do know that Australians can join the British military more easily due to the commonwealth.

In the first place, to fulfil a solemn international obligation . . . an obligation of honor which no self-respecting man could possibly have repudiated. I say, secondly, we are fighting to vindicate the principle that small nationalities are not to be crushed in defiance of international good faith at the arbitrary will of a strong and overmastering Power.

You traitorous wanker. WTF don't you like the ADF? Just because we're not getting the press coverage like the marines doesn't mean we arn't doing anything. And Marines like shiny things too much.
