Post; Job question

Does anyone know what the army MOS 96B (Intelligence Analyst) do on a daily basis? When they get deployed what do they do? And is the at least somewhat entertaining? I really want a combat MOS but I dont wan't to put the stress on family members. thanks for the help

96Bravo, you'll be doing exactly as it says; anyalizing intelligence. You can either be stuck in a box in the FOB reading stuff and reporting to commanders day in and day out, or out in the mix doing your thing. Depends on what's going on and a lot depends on where you're assigned (ie, what unit). There are some 96Bravos that get to do some pretty high speed stuff, but I haven't seen that as the majority.

Just wondering, your MOS entitles you to watch Army Intelligence Analysts work, and then comment on such?

Oh, and yeah, my job allows me to do and see a lot of things.

Understood, I did not mean to offend you, or your job.
