Yet Britain has the same laws about inciting violence most other countries have why doesn't it enforce them?

The PC of the day - and other pragmatics - usually dictate what laws are enfornced and what ones are not - and to what extent. England has been making a rod for its own back for some time now in relation to a too-open door policy, and its culture and security have suffered.

It just strikes me that people are really fighting the wrong enemy in these cases, there is no doubt that these people (the guys stirring up trouble) need to be stopped but lets be realistic they are only doing what they can get away with.

Personally I think the English need to attacking their local police departments demanding that they enforce the laws that are on the books.

Yes it is a PC problem but we all know that politicians only ambition in life is to be re-elected so they can fleece the public some more and they will bend to what ever the loudest group wants.

MontyB speaks the truth.

They're not lifting a finger against the bad guys because they fear of attacks (may it be political or physical etc.)
Well, in that case they should be even more afraid of the public. Maybe then they will do something. Probably crack down on the public actually!
