Iraqi has looked into getting Chinese Type 56 Rifles, RPKs, and other related small arms.

They are going to stay with Soviet Designed small arms for the time being.

The Iraqi National Police have adopted the Glock 17 and Glock 19 as their new standard issue pistol.
