Iran: A Bridge too Far? The weapon that could defeat the US in the Gulf

A word to the reader: The following paper is so shocking that, after preparing the initial draft, I didn’t want to believe it myself, and resolved to disprove it with more research. However, I only succeeded in turning up more evidence in support of my thesis. And I repeated this cycle of discovery and denial several more times before finally deciding to go with the article. I believe that a serious writer must follow the trail of evidence, no matter where it leads, and report back. So here is my story. Don’t be surprised if it causes you to squirm. Its purpose is not to make predictions –– history makes fools of those who claim to know the future –– but simply to describe the peril that awaits us in the Persian Gulf. By awakening to the extent of that danger, perhaps we can still find a way to save our nation and the world from disaster. If we are very lucky, we might even create an alternative future that holds some promise of resolving the monumental conflicts of our time. MG

That guy leaves out air superiority, long range missiles, and a whole slue of other items...

Good read but I feel he is trying to predict the future, funny how he talks about that then does it....

He is also leaving out the superior training the US military has versus say the Iranian...

I really don't know how much support Iran would really get either, I mean come on these people stone people to death for committing adultery...It is ok in this country for a man to rape a women but it is not ok for that woman to have been raped....Basically animals are treated better in some countries then people in Iran....But to each there own....

First: HE did talk about Air superiority but the Missiles was hard to find beacuse they were mobile(I Think.). Second:I think that the iranians that have Missiles like SunBurn, is trained pretty good and can target a ship. 3:Admin edit: no need for comments like that. (Infraction given for this)

So that's wrong to say even if i use ****, while someone can put a Country's Citizens all in one folder as ''Idiots'', Whats wrong can peaople bad mouth the Muslims but not the people from a Wester Country.

Yes, that's certainly wrong to say.
Labeling a country's citizens as "idiots" and bad mouthing muslims isn't very nice either so if you find any posts like that then please use the little button called "report post" and we will deal with it.
