A lot of aussies in here....just curious what yer take on what you thought of the international rules this year?Theres talk of it been the last one, which would be a real shame indeed.

What happened in Ireland happens every week in Melbourne. Footy players are footy players. IR will go on for many years yet and that's good.

Australia still loves the Irish because we're practically all cousins and we all like dishing it out on the poms.

Yes but the difference is, for Australia its a professional sport and our guys arent pros.Geraghty's tackle was a bit much to put it lightly, but it would never have happened if the ref had of suspenced him(attack on gilbee). The simple fact is Ireland werent ready for the game, and I suppose havent played a game as agressive as Sundays game was. Hopefully will still take place next year...much enjoyed the games myself!!! Bring on the 6 nations
