A big much for engaging infantry. I reckon it'd be used against soft skinned troop carrying vehicles etc.

What you need Kilgore? A disco ball and some confetti guns? A sledgehammer is primitive but it can still kill a body hey? Don't just look at the pictures read about the capabilities, its a sight more advanced than the old gatlin gun on a buckboard to be sure.

Could never be effectively deployed against infantry. Too big to conceal for an ambush and too immoblie to provide any significant threat to the amorphous light infantry platoon. On the front lines if it wasn't knocked out by a tank immediately an infantryman would just paint it and call in an airstrike or artillery before the thing ever knew what hit it.

Looks like it'd to well against helos and such though. I'd hate to have one of those between me and my dropzone.

Kinda what I was thinking... and you gotta remember in WWII everyone thought the 88 was just AA, at first.
