Politicians are always looking to make people more equal, this is as long as it does not affect them and the money that they are raking in

When the bottom line is profit over everything else including making the standard of living better for your country's citizens, then everything goes to **** and the country that will protect it's people the least get all the jobs and less than minimum wage. I begin to wonder sometimes if people in economics have empathy at all?

If you listen to some of the idiots talking about Income Equality they think its fine to pay the CEO the same as the janitor. Totally sucked in on Socialist/Communist drivel.

I disagree, I have never met anyone that believed a CEO should be paid as much as a janitor however I think most people are concerned at the ridiculous level of some salaries and the speed at which those salaries are growing by comparison to your average "janitor" and I think a lot of people are rather tired of seeing $10 million dollar CEO's announcing the redundancy of $30,000 workers to save $1 million a year. Lets face it there is nothing like hearing your politicians/managers/leaders are getting a 5% pay rise while they tell you to tighten your belt and be thankful for your 1% increase. We are more often treacherous through weakness than through calculation. ~Francois De La Rochefoucauld |

France's new Socialist government has held its first cabinet meeting and announced a 30% pay cut for President Francois Hollande and all his ministers. A campaign promise, the cut reduces Mr Hollande's monthly salary from 21,300 euros to 14,910 (£12,000; $19,000). The cut contrasts sharply with predecessor Nicolas Sarkozy's decision to increase his pay on entering office If the guy running the Country earns only $19,000 a month then CEOs should earn less than this in my opinion. |

Someone once said that if you redistribute all the money equally among the people it will flow back to where it came from. There are no facts about pecuniary justice only opinions. The ones who don't have the money complain that the others who do have it have to much, unless they become part of the others. I don't care what others earn but I do care about my income, and more is better. Don't attack the one who gets the money, attack the one who gives it. These are just my thoughts, no offence. |

Equality......Well you will always have the haves and haves nots. If you split all the wealth in a country and gave every one an equal share in a few days days you would that some people again would have nothing and others would be far better off. The arguments that murder rates would fall is rubbish, after WW2 in the UK if any one was killed in an act of Violence then it was headlines and who ever had done would be hunted down and hanged. These days it happens so often it barely gets a few lines on page 5 and when the person is caught he will get a life sentence and will will be free in 5 to 7 years. It is rather like school you have a group that want to learn and group that doesn't and when the group that leaves school with a poor education and find that they can't get a good job then it is every ones fault bar there's |
