No, that's not. One of my best friends owns over two hundred firearms. He just has a head start on me. Like a 20 year head start. He is twice my age. But most of the stuff I own were purchased at great low prices. So I don't have a lot of money invested in them. Also I have gotten some for free. A very kind old man passed away. He was very close to me and his wife gave them to me. That was about 15 firearms. Remember, I collect them. So instead of me blowing money on the latest big screen tv or spending $40,000 on a car I spend most of my fun money on firearms. I drive a $4,000 pickup truck and I still have a 20 year old television. I spend on average only $300 a firearm, sure some have cost me more but that is the average price that I pay. I figure I get a new firearm at least maybe once every two months. I'm twenty three years old. I've been buying firearms since I was sixteen. So let's do the math (of course when I was younger I bought a lot less. Also for a period of time I worked at and owned a gun store so I got things dirt cheap at dealer prices.) 97 seems right. My purchasing of firearms is slowing down though. I pretty much have what I want. Sure, there will still be firearms that I buy in the future but my habits are pretty much slowing down. I still want a luger, maybe a couple of Class III firearms. SBR Uzi, couple of Suppressors, maybe in the next ten years a full auto if the prices are still okay. | |

Yup, and what is wrong with his age, 13th Redneck? LOL. Anyway, 200 firearms is pretty a lot. I think 10 or 15 would be fine for me. lol I thought you could own UZI since you're a police officer...or the law has been changed or what? heh? I went to the Class III store. (lot of stuffs that I can't buy) I read their rules only Law Enforcements and Class III holders can buy the full-automatic guns. |

That's if I get the Chief to say yes and give me a department letter head. But I will not use my job to get something that my fellow citizens can't get. Short Barreled Uzis are legal for you to own. You just need to get a Class III tax stamp. Getting a Full Auto is the same tax stamp. They just cost more because all of the legal ones for ownership were built before 1986. So they're just going up in price. Short barreled Ones can still be made right now and sold to civilians. Quote:
