Basically get a greencard and then get recruited. Which is by no means easy...
The oath to serve my country as a soldier did not include a contract for the normal luxuries and comfort enjoyed within our society. On the contrary it implied hardship, loyalty and devotion to duty regardless of rank. |

I know it can be done because I remember reading about a Chineese officer who because his girl moved to Texas followed her. He joined the national guard because military life is what he knew. Later he joined the army and at the time of the story was in Iraq working in a motor pool.
