Post; Identifying A Picture

http://members.cox.net/mickcasper/im...rlandScuba.gif

I have a challenge for you military buffs. I'm trying to identify this picture. It was sent to a family member by her internet boyfriend. Supposedly, the one on the left is her Captain in the USAF. I've been informed that the insignia are not even US. Could anyone help me to identify any of the info in the pic? I'd love to trace the origins of the picture but don't know if I'll get that lucky (I suspect it's a brochure or something of that nature.) I'd at least like to determine the country. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Well. Karland Scuba is the name of the picture, if you search "Karland" you'll get results from Turkey.

Now, I'm not nations-expert but "uni-brow" on the right, and the other one both have Turkeish body-features. The "uni-brow" and big noses are fairly common in Turkey.

So my suggestion is, that you are looking at two Turkish Air Force Officers.

Well, his name is supposed to be Karl and his buddy is supposed to be "Scuba." I did look up Turkish insignia, though. No luck so far. Thanks for the idea.

They're probably Portugese. That is the portugese flag on the left pilots shoulder...the green and red. At least they look the same to me
